Who’s going to Glacier this year?

Since 2021, Glacier National Park has run reservations for the Going to the Sun Road and other areas of the park. This year they are getting rid of the system.

Here’s what to expect:

🚙 Traffic will be consistently bad throughout the day. The earlier you get to the park, the more likely you will be to get parking at popular spots in the park. Be patient!

🍃 With more people in the park at peak times, you’ll find that trails may get really crowded. Please remember to still stay on the trails, give the uphill hikers the right of way, and again have patience.

🅿️ Logan Pass now has a 3 hour parking limit! This should make it easier to find a spot at one of the notoriously hard parking areas

🚌 There are free shuttles that you can take along the Going to the Sun Road! They come every 30 minutes or so. However, even these may have longer wait times with more people there.

🚍Logan Pass will have express shuttles that you can get reservations for ahead of time! This is a big win!

The moral of the story: pack your patience, get places early, and remember to always respect the park and the wildlife.

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️: Dylan and I flew acro

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️:

Dylan and I flew across the country this weekend to meet the newest addition to our crew.

We got to spend the weekend between the beautiful redwoods in Mill Valley and the city streets of SF. Of course, we went on plenty of hikes, ate good food, and spent tons of time laughing.

Our cups are so full from wonderful moments with some of our closest friends. There’s something so cool about watching your friends become parents and see them grow.

Now, we are back home for a little to enjoy the holidays before we fly across the country once again!

Anyone else feel like the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas always flies by?
