What makes you happy? I’m going to miss summer

What makes you happy?

I’m going to miss summer, because I love spending days by the water. Swimming in it, enjoying the reflections, and hiking to it.

I’m happiest by an alpine lake specifically. But the fall air is coming in, and those days are coming to a close.

Have you been to Washington in the Fall?

We spent all of last Fall in Washington and it was incredible, here are some incredible Washington fall foliage spots:

🍁Maple Pass, North Cascades

🍁Artists Point, Mount Baker

🍁Enchantments, Leavenworth

🍁Naches Peak, Mt Rainier

Do you like traveling in the US or abroad?

Don’t get me wrong, I love going to new countries but, the US truly has it all from mountains to beaches and everything in between. It truly blows me away!

Even though we’ve been traveling full time for 3 years our list of things to see in the US only gets longer and longer. It may take a lifetime to explore.

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ⛺️:

Another week without the van, but we made the best of it.

One of my best friends, has graciously been hosting Dylan and me while we are without our home. It’s been a nice excuse to slow down and spend time together.

But, over the weekend Dylan and I got out for one last summer backpacking trip in the Wind River Range.

This area of Montana has so many routes, but we did the popular Cirque of the Towers. It was challenging and breathtaking all at the same time.

I almost felt as if we were walking through Middle Earth. It was truly the best way to end the summer and transition into fall. We swam in lakes, saw wildflowers, but also noticed fall colors peaking out on the terrain.

It was a transition into a new season, just as our life is transitioning into a new season.
