The only time I feel patriotic lately is when I watch the Olympics. These athletes train their whole lives for these games and they put it all on the line.

Although it’s a tight race these are the medals I’d give:

🥉Yellowstone

Hiking
🥇Glacier
🥈Yosemite
🥉Acadia

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY 🚐: This WWWW is dedicated WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY 🚐:

This WWWW is dedicated to Minnesota. This was my 50th state that I visited and if you’ve ever been, then you know it’s special.

Minnesota has been in the news a lot lately, and the people there have been such an inspiration.

Now, one of the most beautiful areas in the state, the Boundary Waters is at risk. Congress is trying to lift a mining ban in this area. It would absolutely devastate it!

The vote could happen in the Senate at any minute. Please call and email your Senators and save the Boundary Waters!

Have you called them yet?
the only thing more powerful than hate is LOVE W the only thing more powerful than hate is LOVE

Watching Bad Bunny’s performance last night reminded me how joy is so important right now. We need these moments to lift us up.

They eat to keep bringing us down. But, we still need those moments of joy to keep us motivated.

Don get me wrong protesting and taking action are still so important, but without joy we won’t have the energy to keep fighting.

So, today let’s try and feel some joy and remember we are stronger together and with love 💕💕

We are moving! Lots of life updates coming this We are moving!

Lots of life updates coming this week. While we’ve been having a hard time lately, we are focusing on the positives and exciting changes coming!

Dylan and I will be house sitting in Bellingham, Portland, and Seattle. So give us all of your recommendations for neighborhoods, restaurants, and cafes!

This trip is mostly about focusing on figuring out where to live, so we won’t be doing as much outdoors exploring.

But I’m excited! Who’s ready for the big change?

This past week has been really rough 💔 Unfortunat This past week has been really rough 💔

Unfortunately, after finding out I was pregnant over New Years, we suffered another pregnancy loss. As many of you know I had a miscarriage last year that lasted 9 months. So, it’s been a really difficult journey and we were hopeful we were on the other side of things.

If you have experienced pregnancy loss, then you know our pain. We are trying to remain positive and we know that it will be our time eventually. But for now, we are going to try and focus on the positives.

If you are going through something similar, I’m always willing to talk about it 💕💕

I miss the times before AI Lately, it feels like I miss the times before AI

Lately, it feels like AI is taking over everything and it’s making me a bit sick to my stomach.

AI is having massive detrimental impacts on the planet with huge data centers that take up tons of water and energy.

I’m not sure there will be a future without AI completely, but I know that if we don’t figure out better solutions for the earth then we will all suffer.

Anyone else really over AI?

Being online lately has felt so heavy. I know we Being online lately has felt so heavy.

I know we are all so tired. We go from seeing a video of someone getting m**dered to seeing a video of someone dancing to a trending song. Our brains simply weren’t wired for this.

That being said, the vote on ICE funding is happening any day now, so please keep calling your senators and your congress people.

And once you’ve sent a phone call or email, go do something for yourself. Take care of yourself, because we all need it these days. Take a moment to call a friend, go on a walk (if you can), or simply get offline.

Sending you all lots of love these days

Sound familiar? Over the weekend, another man wa Sound familiar?

Over the weekend, another man was shot and m**rdered by ICE. We all saw the videos, there’s no denying what happened.

Many more have been killed by them behind closed doors.

If you want to help abolish 🧊, then you need to call your senators and congress people now.

📞 You can use the 5calls platform or call the Congress switchboard at 202-224-3121 and they’ll connect you.

💬 Here’s a script you can follow: Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a constituent from [Your City, State].

I’m calling to urge Senator [Name] to refuse to vote for any appropriations bill funding the Department of Homeland Security that fails to rein in ICE.

The k*llings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti and are part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against our communities.

We can’t wait around while ICE harms more people. Senator [NAME] must push for an appropriations bill that puts serious restrictions on ICE or completely abolished it.

I know things feel hopeless right now, but we are stronger together.

#ad After three years of full‑time travel, I learn #ad After three years of full‑time travel, I learned one thing fast: nothing matters more than having reliable service. Whether it’s checking maps, finding a last‑minute place to sleep, or squeezing in some work on the road, connection is everything.

That’s exactly why, when we took the van through Canada and Mexico, we relied on Holafly’s eSIM for unlimited data. No hunting for SIM cards, no surprise charges, no stress. Just instant activation and solid coverage wherever we went.

Dylan handled the driving and the vibes, Holafly handled the connection.

If you’re planning a trip soon, grab a Holafly eSIM and get 5% off with my code: LITAOFTHEPACK

It’s the easiest travel upgrade you can make.

Have you tried an eSIM before?

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️: I’m not going to lie, WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️:

I’m not going to lie, right now an escape from everything was much needed. So, our trip to the Virgin Islands National Park was a wonderful getaway to the warmth. And as a reminder joy is an act of resistance 🙌🏻

We went to the island of St John in the Caribbean to check off one of our last National Parks. Now, we only have five left!

The park makes up about 80% of the island and it is known for its amazing sea life and wonderful reefs. We spent most days hanging out on the beach and going snorkeling to see what we could find, which was a much more relaxed pace than our usual trips.

But, the Virgin Islands also has a ton of history with a tragic past. Slaves used to make up the majority of the population of the island and much of it was built off their backs. We visited many of the old plantation sites where we learned about what had happened and how this island has changed over time.

If you make it over to this park, make sure to take time to learn about the history of the island as well.

Have you ever been to the Virgin Islands?

P.S. if you’re new here my WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY series is a weekly post where I share where we traveled the past week or focus on a place we’ve traveled to in the past.

If you aren’t mad, you aren’t paying attention T If you aren’t mad, you aren’t paying attention

This past year has had so many devastating effects on the earth and the people in this country.

Public lands have been at risk all year long and right now the Boundary Waters in Minnesota are at stake. There’s truly so much on the line.

At the same time in Minnesota people are being forcibly removed from the streets, removed from their families, and murdered.

There has truly never been as crucial a time to speak out.

I will continue to post outdoors content and I will also post political things. Because it’s all connected and it all matters.

Let’s do the work now.

It’s time for a re-introduction! There are some It’s time for a re-introduction!

There are some new faces around here and it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these.

Bonus facts you may know:

📕I love reading and read about 2 books a week.

🔥 I’d prefer to be hot than cold!

🏔️ Even though I grew up loving the beach, I’m more of a mountain girl these days. I love time spent at an alpine lake!

📝 I’m pretty type A, I love to plan things, and I spend hours researching places and things to do!

🫂We are super close with our families and spend 2-3 days a week seeing them. I’ve had a standing family dinner with my extended family every Tuesday since I was a young kid!

🍿 Although I’m not a movie buff, my family loves them and I try to see all the Oscar contenders every year.

🎾 I mentioned being a sports fan, but I also love playing sports. I grew up playing tennis, basketball, and softball. Now, I play a lot of tennis and pickle ball.

🥰 I’m usually an optimistic individual, but things lately have definitely made that harder.

Many of you have been here for a while, but even still did any of these surprise you? Tell me about yourself!

I had to repost after the tragic events this week in Minnesota. As a reminder, law enforcement should NEVER kill civilians.

WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️: We rang in the New Y WHERE WE WENT WEDNESDAY ✈️:

We rang in the New Year by flying across the country to California. ☀️☀️

My family rented a house for the week in Palm Springs, where we lounged in the pool, soaked up the sun, and played countless hours of pickle ball.

Of course, while we were there we had to do some exploring and hiking. Plus, we took my parents to Joshua Tree for their first time, which was also truly special.

It was a great week with lots of quality time together.

How did you ring in the New Year?
